  1. We bought a 2005 model when my son was born. We have used it every night since he was born. When we first bought it we loved it, we had no problems. Then when it was about a year old the batteries quit recharging, but it wasn’t that big of a deal because you can still have it plugged in. It the last four years we have had some issues occasionally with out of range beeping, but nothing too annoying. The one thing I love is that we live in a twin home in a farely “close quarters” development and have never picked up anyone elses monitors or other interferences. It seems very secure. We do get some static, but it has mostly to do with the fact that we run a fan in the room to block out traffic noise. So all in all, this is a nice long lasting monitor, decently priced compaired to others out there. And after researching the others we are going to order this monitor again for our upcoming arrival.

  2. Purchased because of its “up to 2000ft” reception. I really didn’t expect it to work for that distance, but I was hoping half that would work. Nope. Its distance is no better than any other monitor available on the market, including the popular Sony model, which I had but broke after a few months.

The only kudos I can give is that it’s been 4 months, and the product is still working.
